What Pacer and this website collect: nothing that leaves your Mac, no telemetry, no analytics, and no cookies.

## The app

Pacer runs on your Mac and keeps its data there. It has no account, no AI, and no telemetry, and it makes no network calls while you type.

To rank suggestions, Pacer records the commands you run, the folder you ran them in, and their exit codes in `~/Library/Application Support/pacer/data.sqlite3`. For `pacer stats` it also records when you accept or dismiss a suggestion and how long the popover took to appear; those events are deleted after 90 days. Your settings are in `settings.json` in the same folder. Nothing in these files is sent anywhere.

Two commands use the network, and only when you run them. `pacer update` checks for a newer release and downloads it. `pacer doctor` asks GitHub for the latest release number. Neither sends your history, settings, or stats.

## This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from other hosts. Its fonts are served from the site itself.

The host that serves the site can keep standard request logs, such as the time of a request and the page it asked for. Those logs are not used to track you.
