Name

Pacer and Warp

In short

Warp is a terminal app with its own completions and AI features. Its completions work only inside Warp. Pacer is not a terminal: it adds a popover to the terminal you already use, Ghostty, iTerm2, or Terminal.

Where they differ

Your terminal
With Warp you switch terminals. With Pacer you keep yours, with its settings, fonts, and key bindings.
Inside Warp
Pacer does not run in Warp. Warp has its own completions, so Pacer stays out of its way.
Local only
Pacer has no AI, no account, and no telemetry, and makes no network calls while you type.

Which to choose

If you already use and like Warp, keep its completions. If you prefer Ghostty, iTerm2, or Terminal, Pacer brings completions to them.
